The Swiss Made mechanical UW-30 movement is robust, with an antimagnetic gilt Glucydur balance wheel bringing outstanding precision. The UW-30 movement has been regulated to high precision and boasts 38 hour power reserve.
The design of the watch has all the robustness of a tool watch, with a no-nonsense 41mm case design, made from recycled stainless steel. Whenever pilots fly in a formation it is essentially important that all of them are precisely aligned. To do so Fortis designed the Synchroline, allowing for precise synchronization within a +/-5 second range. You will find a Brixtrac brushed ring around the outside of the dial at each minute marker. It’s designed to aid in legibility and gives the watch a tactical feel, while adding depth to the dial.
